American Banker met Richard Easton II in his stylish offices at 14 Wall Street across from New York Stock Exchange. 

Easton founded his investment bank in 1985, creating EASTON BANK SF in San Francisco, trading marketable securities, until receiving an all cash offer from Merrill Lynch in 2000. Deal closed in three weeks. 

Since 2000 Easton splits his time between offices in New York and London, leaving AB wondering which he prefers:
