American Banker met Richard Easton II in his stylish offices at 14 Wall Street across from New York Stock Exchange. 

Easton founded his investment bank in 1985, creating his first subsidiary EASTON BANK, trading marketable securities, until receiving an all cash offer from Merrill Lynch in 2000. Bank sold in three weeks.
